SAN08-628-GCSS-AF Production Outage

Per System Advisory Notice (SAN) 08-628, GCSS-AF Data Services will be down Saturday, 20 Sep 08, from 2100-2300 ET. Users will not be able to execute reports from the Business Objects, Cognos, and RIA layers.

A4/7 tools/capabilities affected by the production outage include: LIMS EV (LIMS EV Aircraft Maintenance View, LIMS EV Pipeline Analysis, LIMS EV Pods & Test stations, LIMS EV Repair Enterprise Engines, LIMS EV Vehicle View), Logistics Balanced Score Card, Fleet Asset Status, DMSI (Q302/303), Supply Chain View (SCV), EESOH Rapid reporting and Adhoc Reporting, ACES HM, Real Property Information Structure (RPIS) and Retrograde.

AFVEC and MyEDP Outage

Both AFVEC and MyEDP will be down Sunday, 21 Sep 08 all day due to scheduled maintenance. Service will be restored by Monday, 22 Sep 08.

AFDS Service Interruption

AFDS users may experience service outages periodically throughout the duty day. Outages are a result of a major infrastructure event limiting the availability of AFDS services. During the week of 8-12 Sep 08, all AFDS services will be offline between the hours of 1900-0700 CST. The weekend of 6-7 Sep 08 all services will be down the entire day. Current projected date for restoration of uninterrupted services is 13 Sep 08. Any questions can be directed to DSN 596-5771 options 1,2,2.

GCSS-AF Data Services Maintenance

A planned maintenance release from GCSS-AF Data Services will require that some applications be unavailable for a 30-minute window this evening, Monday, 8 SEP 2008 from 1800 EST to 1830 EST. The following applications will be affected:

LIMS-EV Vehicle Views

Air Force Selects New Staff Sergeants

SSGT The Air Force released the promotion lists at 0800 CDT on 20 August. 12,209 Senior Airmen were selected for promotion to Staff Sergeant; The complete list of selectees is available here:

Score notices will be available via each Airman's Air Force Portal personal page.

MyEDP Limited Service

MyEDP is currently experiencing limited service due to AFPC Secure firewall issues that have blocked access to the military personnel data system. MyEDP is still available to members who have already registered, but new members will be prevented from registering an account. In addition, certain links and data elements within MyEDP may appear to be broken. There is unfortunately no estimated timeline on a fix. We are working diligently with AFPC to find a work around to this problem and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
