  • New publication titled "Assessing Impacts of Rising Fuel Prices on Rural Native Americans" (DP-208) is now available under Publications in the Rural and Small Urban Transit focus area.
  • A Transportation Seminar titled "Impact of Transportation on Wetland and Animal Habitat" will be held Nov. 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in Room 422 of the IACC building.
  • Monthly reports for the North Dakota Grain Industry Data (Grain Trax) page were updated on Oct. 30, 2008.
  • A Transportation Seminar titled "Longitudinal Analysis of Changes in the Behavior and Attitudes of College Undergraduates Toward Public Transportation: First and Second Wave Findings" will be held Oct. 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in Room 422 of the IACC building.
  • A Roundabout Open House will be held Oct. 23, 2008 to introduce motorists, local officials, law enforcement personnel and local roads experts to roundabouts, a form of intersection that improves traffic flow, fuel efficiency and safety.
  • New publication titled "Supplemental Information for NRMR MPOs - Integrating Security into Small MPO Planning Activities" (DP-202) is now available under Publications in the Miscellaneous focus area.
  • A 2008 Annual Awards Banquet will be held Oct. 9, 2008 at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
  • New publication titled "Biodiesel Use in Fargo-Moorhead MAT Buses" (DP-200) is now available under Publications in the Rural and Small Urban Transit focus area.
  • New publication titled "Effects of Rising Gas Prices on Bus Ridership for Small Urban and Rural Transit Systems" (DP-201) is now available under Publications in the Rural and Small Urban Transit focus area.
  • We are now accepting registrations for the 2009 Vision Safe Drive Conference to be held May 20-21, 2009 in Rapid City, SD.
  • The Agricultural and Food Transportation conference agenda is now available online. The conference will be held Dec. 2-3, 2008 at the Fairmont Washington hotel in Washington D.C.
  • The 2008 TRB Annual Meeting Presentations from the session titled "Transportation and Energy, Part 1: Transportation Demand in a Growing Ethanol Market" are online. UGPTI advanced research fellow Kimberly Vachal served as presider at the session.
