As of 11 a.m. EDT, May 4, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had documented 279 cases of H1N1 flu in the United States. Influenza is thought to spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing. If you get sick, the CDC (Click Here for Details) is recommending that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
The symptoms of H1N1 flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with H1N1 flu. (Click Here for Details).
