American Society of Addiction Medicine wants to increase the opportunities for residents to learn about the diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism and other drug dependencies. Once again, ASAM will be using some of the interest income from its Ruth Fox Memorial Endowment Fund to underwrite a limited number of scholarships for selected physicians-in-training to participate in the Society’s annual conference.
