Objective:
The objective of this project is to develop a fully integrated website for the genus Phytophthora that would include full species description, host ranges of specific species, their distribution and molcular characterization. This is a renewal of a grant that was funded in 2005.

Approach:
This is part of a collaborative effort among 5 institutions to assemble a comprehensive evaluation of all species in the genus and make is available on the web. One lab grows up culture and extracts DNA, which is then sent to a collaborating lab for sequence analysis. Collaborators will share the responsibility for developing web page content.Documents Reimbursable with Penn State. Log 35969.
