Anti-Corruption: Success Stories

USAID Anti-Corruption Strategy
USAID’s Office of Democracy and Governance has taken the lead in developing an Agency-wide Anti-Corruption Strategy at the request of Administrator Natsios. This strategy is being developed in response to the growing commitment of the Agency to address corruption as a fundamental barrier to development. It will serve as a catalyst to aide both Missions and Washington Bureaus to broaden their focus on corruption as a cross-sectoral challenge. As part of the development of this strategy, the DG office administered a survey of all Missions and developed an Inventory (add link to table) of all USAID programs with an anti-corruption focus or components. The strategy will be released in the coming months.
