Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Program



Primary emphasis is on management of the Rio Grande ecosystem to ensure adequate river flows for riparian and aquatic organisms, with special emphasis on the Rio Grande silvery minnow and southwestern willow flycatcher.

Primary activities are with the following agencies or programs:

  • Bureau of Reclamation
  • Army Corps of Engineers
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs
  • State of New Mexico
  • Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program
