While we have brought together general descriptions of the work done by USAID in the Czech Republic in the Success Stories section of this website, here we present information regarding a number of projects that were funded to bring about change in the Czech Republic. The difference is not only one of focus, but also reflects the fact that it may take several separate projects working in succession or in parallel to bring about a given result in cooperation with our Czech partners.

We present the information broken down by sectors – private sector development, financial sector development, municipal finance, governance and quality of life including broadening social services, improving healthcare, delivering cleaner energy and restoring the environment.

In addition to these descriptions, we have also tried to include a number of reports and documents produced under the activities. A wider selection of reports (over 100 of them) is available from the Development Experience Clearinghouse (type Czech Republic into the search engine of that site).
