enabling policy environment is critical to encouraging the
adoption of sustainable practices.
Promoting policies that encourage sustainable practices is critical to ensuring the conservation of the earth’s biodiversity. Therefore, while much of USAID’s work on biodiversity conservation is site-based, the Agency also engages in policy dialogue within host countries and at the international level.
