Thank you for your interest in helping those affected by the December 26, 2004 earthquake and tsunami in South and South East Asia. Estimates currently place the level of America’s private giving at over $1 billion dollars. These funds, coupled with the $950 million that President George W. Bush has requested from Congress, will go a long way towards bringing relief to that area of the world.
