Marshall Islands - Floods

Brief Description:
On September 16, Majuro Hospital in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) experienced a devastating fire that destroyed pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and essential hospital services buildings. The RMI comprises 29 atolls and 5 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and Majuro Hospital serves as the central point for health services for the country's population of approximately 57,000 persons.
