First Meeting of the Interagency Youth Working Group

Youth: New Research, Program Experiences, and Applications

USAID and the Interagency Youth Working Group (IYWG) invite you to the inaugural IYWG meeting, to be held May 7, 2007. Participants will learn about the IYWG and discuss new research results, program experiences, and applications in the youth reproductive health and HIV field. Also, on May 8, the IYWG and Family Health International (FHI) will be sponsoring a half-day workshop on how to use tools for working with youth in faith-based settings, HIV counseling and testing situations, and peer education.   The closest Metro stop to AED is Dupont Circle (red line, North exit), and parking is available in the building for $14 per day. There will be signs in the building lobby directing you to the meetings.
  
  
• Information Marketplace
  The IYWG has arranged for tables to be set up throughout the meeting, taking place on May 7, for display of publications that are directly related to youth reproductive health and HIV/AIDS only. If your organization would like to take advantage of this dissemination opportunity, please e-mail a list of the publications you would like to display to Mercedes Torres (mtorres@fhi.org) by April 23. All materials can be set up the morning of May 7 or shipped directly to AED the week of May 1. If you choose to ship your materials, please use the shipping information below:
