"Breaking the Cycle - Reducing the Stigma"—SAMHSA Sponsored
Description
The Community Open House - Forum will be open to the public and will be multifold in purpose. The intent is to celebrate the people and families in recovery from substance abuse, illustrate that recovery from addiction is possible and to bring awareness to the stigma associated with substance abuse.

A series of local notable speakers will present their stories, both personal and professional, with a question and answer session to follow. Sheriff Mark Luttrell and Shelby County Mayor AC Wharton will be among the local dignitaries to speak along with individuals in recovery. Each recoverying speaker will have their own topic and focus related to addiction, treatment and recovery.

Light refreshments will be served.

we will be have evening services at our church . testamonials from those that have been clean for over 2 years. speakers from the medical field, speakers from foster care , clergy and the community. we will be raising funds also for the TLV Boyce Womens Home due to open sept 1 2005. we wiil be making the public aware of how they can help. we will have this service every sunday at 330 and every tuesday at 630pm..also the church will be excepting pictures of loved ones addicted so we can pray daily from 9am until 6pm daily
