Habitat Management and Monitoring

This is the second of three interactive modules -- along with “Biodiversity Around the Great Lakes” (CD-EPA-20) and “Big River” (CD-EPA-22) -- developed by U.S. EPA and Purdue University to inform and instruct students and the public about the workings of natural ecosystems, focusing on the upper Midwest and Great Lakes. Developed for high school students, “Habitat Management and Monitoring” is an entertaining and instructive program for anyone interested in learning how habitats support the ecosystem, and the role that plants and animals play in their habitats. While this tutorial emphasizes the upper Midwest and Great Lakes, it presents universally applicable principles.
