SmartWay Recognizes Initial Grow & Go Partners for Using Renewable Fuels

EPA launched SmartWay Grow & Go in October 2006 to promote the environmental benefits of renewable fuels through the agency's SmartWay Transport Partnership. A special event August 24 recognized new and existing SmartWay partners who have joined Grow & Go. Partners were honored with an award certificate at a breakfast with Robert Meyers, EPA's principal deputy assistant administrator for air and radiation, and Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert.

This SmartWay event was cosponsored by the National Biodiesel Board, Exit EPA Disclaimer which advocates for biodiesel use and quality control.
