The Economic and Commercial Section

The Embassy's Commercial Office promotes U.S. businesses in Malawi by providing various services to U.S. and Malawian business people. We respond to trade inquiries; prepare written and oral presentations on economic, commercial and labor developments; and arrange and facilitate business contacts. The office also prepares the annual Country Commercial Guide (CCG) that presents a comprehensive look at Malawi's commercial environment, using economic, political and market analysis.

The Commercial Library

Name of LinkThe Commercial Office updates the commercial library in the Embassy Public Affairs Information Resource Center (IRC). Containing over 300 volumes of commercial references in print and on CD-Rom, the IRC provides a key information resource and reference on doing business with the U.S. as well as other trade-related information to the Malawi public.
