CPSC, Sunbeam® Announce Recall of Glow-In-the-Dark Humidifiers

(Adult putting child in crib, walking over to the lamp, which is next to a humidifier and turning lamp off) The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Sunbeam Corporation are recalling about 560,000 Sunbeam, Hankscraft and SunMark humidifiers (view of glow-in-the-dark humidifier in a dark room) with water tanks that glow in the dark. (view of three humidifiers) These humidifiers can develop an electrical short, presenting a fire hazard.
