CEED has launched its first training in Varna and Burgas

The Bulgarian Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) was officially launched on September, 20, 2005 with the support of USAID and the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF).  Within its certification program, CEED (www.ceed.bg) organized its first training module entitled “Marketing – Luxury or Means of Survival and Growth”.

The first two modules were held in Varna and Bourgas in November and December 2005, respectively. The training is part of CEED’s program “Workshop for Entrepreneurs” and targets Bulgarian managers of all management levels. More than thirty participants have attended the first two classes. This outreach beyond Sofia is in line with CEED’s identification of a relative shortage of quality practical executive and entrepreneurial training outside Sofia.

Similar centers and programs are scheduled to open doors in other countries across the region in 2006-2007.
