U.S. General Services Administration Administrators
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) was established on July 1, 1949, when President Harry Truman signed the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act into Law.
GSA is headed by an Administrator who is appointed by the President and confirmed by Congress. An Acting Administrator (*) is selected by an outgoing Administrator to serve pending the selection and approval of a new Administrator.
