The ENERGY STAR rating provides the ability for Accor to measure and compare the energy performance of its hotels; facilitate the identification of properties where there is room for improvement; and identify high performing properties so that they can be recognized and established as exemplars of best practices.
By introducing the energy performance rating to their portfolio, Accor is now better able to understand how its properties stack up against other similar hotels nationwide. As a result, Accor is now able to rapidly benchmark its entire portfolio of more than 900 owned properties.
