FORT's in-house library maintains a specialized collection of over 12,000 items including current maps and atlases, in-house reports, and hard-to-find Federal and State publications and documents that have limited distribution. Online access to select journals and bibliographic databases is provided locally and through the USGS. Library staff conduct literature searches, provide document delivery, and, through interlibrary loan, retrieve items not held locally. FORT's publication database and archive of all FORT publications are maintained by the library.
