o PEST
A comprehensive parameter estimation software package for use with other modeling software. Both PC and unix versions available. Freeware from S.S. Papadopulos and Associates.

o ECOMSED
A 3-D hydrodynamic and sediment transport model from HydroQual, now in the public domain.

o CAEDYM
The Computational Aquatic Ecosystem Dynamics Model, an aquatic ecological model, from the Centre for Water Research at the University of Western Australia.

o DYRESM
The Dynamic Reservoir Simulation Model, a one-dimensional hydrodynamic model for predicting the vertical distribution of temperature, salinity and density in lakes and reservoirs, from the Centre for Water Research at the University of Western Australia.

The Graphical Data Processor (GDP) is a Windows-based tool from Colorado State University's IDS Group that aids in building model input files from various sources.

o MODSIM-DSS
A generalized river basin Decision Support System and network flow model developed at Colorado State University which incorporates physical, hydrological, and institutional/administrative aspects of river basin management, including water rights.

o SWMM
Oregon State University's Civil Engineering Department maintains a newer version of EPA's Storm Water Management Model (SWMM).
