OUTREACH AND EDUCATION

Water Jeopardy

USGS Surface-Water Field Trip with Students.

USGS Montana Water Science Center employees visit with children and adults to provide information about water, geology, and other earth science topics.  Our outreach activities range from visiting classrooms to making presentations at conferences.  We can tailor our outreach to be appropriate for the age group and interest.

If you are an educator, festival/conference organizer, or an earth-science agency in need of training, we would be glad to share our knowledge about water and earth science with your class, festival, or agency.  We also have posters, factsheets, and other materials available for use by teachers or for adult reference.
