School Team Excellence Awards Ceremony, June 16, Cairo

A School Team Excellence Awards Ceremony took place in Cairo on June 16.  Awards were presented to seven winning schools, the best Trainer of Trainers, and the best Master Trainer.  The purpose of the School Team Excellence Awards Program (STEAP) is to motivate school education teams through modest awards to improve school quality and thereby maximize student learning.  To date, 90 percent of all public primary schools and 35 percent of public preparatory schools in Egypt have participated in the program.  STEAP is funded by USAID and implemented by Creative Associates Inc.
