Elements of the Offense of Escape from Custody --

In order to establish an "attempt" to escape under this section,
the
government must prove an intent to escape coupled with an overt act in the
accomplishment thereof, United States v. McPherson, 436 F.2d 1066,
1067
(5th Cir.), cert. denied, 403 U.S. 997 (1971). See also
