    This online resource is a public education Web site developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to communicate to parents and other caring adults about how they can help promote their child’s mental health and reduce his or her risk for becoming involved with alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs.


  • SAMHSA's Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Locator
    This on-line resource helps locate drug and alcohol abuse treatment programs. The Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Locator lists: (1) Private and public facilities that are licensed, certified, or otherwise approved for inclusion by their State substance abuse agency; and (2) Treatment facilities administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Indian Health Service and the Department of Defense.
