Subject: SEC File Number S7-16-07

September 13, 2007

Dear Chairman Cox:

It appears that the SEC wishes to eliminate the right of shareholders to present resolutions under Rule 14a-8. I am a small but interested investor, and I believe that shareholders should contribute, via resolutions, to the direction of the companies in which we invest. I am disappointed to hear that you may grant companies the ability to ignore the shareholder resolution process.

I urge you to keep in place the current rules that grant investors the right to participate in corporate decisions.

Very truly,
