The fact that this new SHO rule only applies to certain financial entities is a scandal in itself. Does the rule of law apply to all market participants? Is this not like enacting a rule against the robbery of specific bank branch offices? Is one to conclude that the robbery of the grocery store next door is not considered illegal? The answer being that it is considered illegal, but the law is not enforced! When will all the shareholders in the marketplace be given equal protection under the law? As a shareholder of junior mining companies I have been robbed by the fraud of naked short selling. When is the SEC going to enforce the existing laws against fraud?
