I'm just a small private investor. Do I really get a vote here? You might want to pay more attention to comments from the likes of Dr Patrick Burne or Al Hodges or Senator Bob Bennett(Utah). They know this stuff inside out.
But here goes anyway:
1.Eliminate the Market Maker Exception rule. In it's present form all it does is encourage, and give licence to, and provide immunity from, fraud and corruption and securities counterfeiting.
2. Bring back the uptick rule for all short sales naked or otherwise. What the heck were you thinking when you repealed it?
