I think that any market maker exemption for fraud should not be legal.
Counterfeting of shares, I do not care how temporary, is illegal and should not be tolerated.
Take away the exemption. If you do not have the security to back up the sale, then do not short it.
Naked short selling is not legal. You cannot do this if you do not have the shares in hand or available.
I am tired of the fraud this law perpetuates. You cannot sell what you do not own.
