5th Annual Recovery Picnic
This event will feature lots of great food, a live band, bounce house, face painting, horse show tournament and more!
Celebratory picnic
Rock Park in Sparks, Nevada on the banks of the scenic Truckee River.
The picnic will start at 11:00 a.m. with short presentations by people in recovery; food will be served at noon. The afternoon will include music, dancing, the bounce house, face painting, horse shoe tournament, etc. The festivities will conclude about 3:00 p.m.

This event is a Walkathon with participants soliciting monetary pledges for their participation.

Virginia Lake Park on Lakeside Dr. in Reno, Nevada.
Registration and pledge collection will begin at 9:00 a.m., participants will walk as many laps around Virginia Lake as they want beginning at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served at the end of every lap and a BBQ will begin at 11:00 a.m. Participants will receive gifts for Steppin' Out for Recovery!

The kick off event for Recovery Month in Reno, Nevada will feature pizza, a recovery oriented movie, door prizes, popcorn and sodas!

National Recovery Month Picnic- The focus is to improve access to services for the large number of Las Vegas residents who have difficulty obtaining treatment for alcohol and drug abuse disorders. This will be a festive day in support of the local treatment community provider's.
