July 8, 1905: Killed by bird poachers near Flamingo; jury ruled his killers acted in self defense.

Guy Bradley, 35, Audubon Game Warden

November 30, 1908: Killed in Charlotte Harbor; only his destroyed boat and other evidence were found.

Columbus MacLeod, 60, Audubon Game Warden

October 8, 1994: Airplane crash in Big Cypress National Preserve north of Alligator Alley while using telemetery to track panthers
