Summary: This leg was only part of the NOAA Ship Thomas Jeffersons 2004 field season in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts waters. As part of this effort, five multibeam bathymetric surveys (with ancillary sidescan sonar and CHIRP subbottom data) were completed. The NOAA projects identifier for Long Island Sound is OPR-B370-TJ; for southern Massachusetts it is S-B904-TJ.
