Research conducted in the Matyjaszewski group is primarily focused on understanding of the mechanistic parameters of Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP), and other methods of Controlled Radical Polymerization (CRP), and using these procedures for the preparation of materials with controlled functionality, composition, and topology. Evaluation of the properties of the materials is carried in conjunction with collaborators around the world.
