Reservations are not required. Participants should meet at the Pelican Island Welcome and Orientation Area, the first parking area located on north Historic Jungle Trail.

What to expect
Participants should expect to walk up to 1-1/2 miles over the course of the 3-hour tour.
Over 130 species of birds use the refuge year round and the refuge is popular for a variety of water birds during winter migration season. The tour will visit a popular birding spot on Bird's Impoundment Trail and then tour The Centennial Trail, which culminates to an ADA observation tower overlooking the Pelican Island Rookery.
