Region 8 Water

EPA Region 8 is responsible for clean and safe surface water and ground water. Our goals are: We carry out the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act and their regulations in partnership with the States and Tribes in Region 8. Region 8 is responsible for the drinking water program in Wyoming.

Achieving clean and safe depends on more than these laws. We encourage all public and private entities with a stake in clean and safe water to find ways together to protect and restore water quality by using the watershed approach.
