GSA Honored at Preservation ConferenceDuring this year's National Preservation Conference "Preservation in Progress," the National Trust for Historic Preservation honored GSA for the publication, "Growth, Efficiency and Modernism: GSA Buildings of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s." It has been widely distributed and hailed as a model for establishing a context and nurturing a greater appreciation for modern-era federal design. The conference, which GSA co-sponsored with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, opened October 21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The National Preservation Conference is the premier preservation conference in the United States for professionals in preservation and allied fields. Conference attendees are dedicated to protecting historic resources in the community.
