About Plant Protection Programs

Our Mission

Plant Protection Programs is an organization through which extension and outreach activities related to plant protection and management are coordinated, enhanced and implemented. It administers federal funds for Integrated Pest Management, Pesticide Applicator Training and pesticide assessment; however, its objectives are broader than these federal government initiatives. The focus of the Plant Protection Programs may change in scope from year to year, but includes all horticulture and agronomic plants important to Missouri's citizens.
