Moses Lake is approximately 180 miles from Seattle, and is 20 miles from the 30,000 acre Columbia National Wildlife Refuge. The Mid-Columbia National Wildlife Refuge Complex is an ideal location for a fire crew as it is home to many surrounding FWS lands, including Hanford Reach National Monument/Saddle Mountain NWR.
