Summit County Combined General Health District

(PESP Partner since April 2004)

The Summit County Health Department is responsible for the protection and promotion of the community's health. It serves people of all ages in Summit County, which includes ten townships, nine villages and the cities of Cuyahoga Falls, Fairlawn, Green, Hudson, Macedonia, Munroe Falls, Stow, Tallmadge and Twinsburg. The mission of the Summit County Health Department is to protect and promote the health of the entire community through programs and activities designed to address the safety, health, and well being of the people who live in Summit County. Through its programs and activities, the Health Department seeks to create a healthful environment and insure the accessibility of health services to all.
