Naval Station Mayport

Naval Station Mayports mission is to sustain and enhance warfighter readiness by providing support to the Fleet and Sailors. Comprising 3400 acres in Northeast Florida, Naval Station Mayport hosts the third largest fleet concentration in the United States and operates an 8,000 ft. runway that is capable of handling all Department of Defense aircraft. The station provides logistical support to 84 tenant commands, including U.S. Fourth Fleet, 6 LAMPS HSL squadrons, three DESRONS, and several aviation and ship maintenance activities. Naval Station Mayport won the SECNAV Blue award in 2007 for water and energy conservation.
