Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program Development for Native American Tribal Courts
The Tribal Court CASA Program assists in the development and enhancement of programs that provide volunteer advocacy for abused or neglected Native American children. The program trains Native American representatives to become CASA volunteers and provides planning grants, training, and technical assistance to help tribal courts develop CASA programs

International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA)
INPEA strives to increase society's ability to recognize and respond to the mistreatment of older people. The site features published resources, regional contacts, the INPEA newsletter, and network membership information.

National Congress of American Indians
Founded in 1944, NCAI is an Indian organization serving the needs of a broad membership of American Indian and Alaska Native governments. Their founding members stressed the need for unity and cooperation among tribal governments and people for the security and protection of treaty and sovereign rights.

National Indian Child Welfare Association
The National Indian Child Welfare Association protects Indian children, is a strong voice for the needs of Indian children and Indian child welfare programs nationwide, advocates for and facilitates the proper implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act, promotes the provision of effective services to Indian children by child welfare workers, provides technical assistance for and information sharing among Indian child welfare programs, and provides education and leadership opportunities for Indian child welfare workers.

National Indian Council on Aging
Since it was formed by a group of tribal chairmen in 1976, NICOA has served as the nation's foremost non-profit advocate for the nation's (est.) 200,000 American Indian and Alaska Native elders. NICOA strives to better the lives of the nation's indigenous seniors through advocacy, employment training, dissemination of information, and data support.

National Tribal Justice Resource Center
The Resource Center will make available a wide range of legal resources to tribal court personnel, as well as respond to legal inquiries from American Indian and Alaska Native justice systems.

Native Elder Health Care Resource Center
The Native Elder Health Care Resource Center, initially funded by the Administration on Aging in 1994, is a national resource center for older American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians, with special emphasis on culturally competent health care.

Telemarketing Fraud Prevention, Public Awareness, and Training Activities (August 1998)
This OVC fact sheet (FS 000214) describes four innovative projects funded by OVC to prevent and intervene in telemarketing fraud schemes that target elderly citizens. These include the Elder Financial Exploitation Prevention Program; the Telemarketing Fraud Project for Latino Elderly; Operation Fraudstop; and Telemarketing Fraud Prevention, Public Awareness, and Training Activities.
