Kentucky has not yet been granted state program approval (SPA). Six of the eight states in Region 4 have approved programs.

Number of cleanups completed	11,865 (national total: 377,019)
Number of cleanups in backlog to be completed	2,133 (national total: 102,798)

Percent of facilities in significant operational compliance with:

	Release prevention requirements	57%
	Release detection requirements	60%
	Both prevention and release detection requirements	41%
