EPA Science Forum

Every year, the world's leading environmental scientists and policy makers meet at the EPA Science Forum to explore the latest discoveries in the world of environmental research.

Background

EPA's Research & Development's Office has been hosting the EPA Science Forum since 2002 to kick-off "EPA Science Month" in May every year. The general theme of the Science Forum's are to highlight EPA's scientific accomplishments, thier commitment to quality science, and demonstrate, through examples, the use of science in decision and policy making. The Science Forum also provides an opportunity for interaction among EPA scientists, clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. Due to the positive success of the forums, EPA has continued to hold the event with the aim to focus on community outreach and government collaboration as the forums agenda continue to evolve.
