About the Region

The Denver region is one of the most diverse regions for climate, geography, and cultural mix. Geographically, the region includes mountain, great plain, and desert states covering Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The region encompasses over one million square miles stretching from Canada to Mexico, approximately 25 percent of the total land area for the contiguous United States.
