Sec. 455.24  Effluent limitations guidelines representing the degree of effluent reduction attainable by the application of the best available control 
          technology economically achievable (BAT).

    Except as provided in 40 CFR 125.30 through 125.32, any existing 
point source subject to this subpart must achieve the effluent 
limitations representing the degree of effluent reduction attainable by 
the application of the best available technology as specified in 40 CFR 
455.20(d). For the priority pollutants, such sources must achieve 
discharges not exceeding the quantity (mass) determined by multipying 
the process wastewater flow subject to this subpart as defined in 40 CFR 
455.21 (d) times the concentrations listed in table 4 or table 5 of this 
part, as appropriate, of this subpart.
