Dr. Claudette H. Williams and the Edward Waters College Family cordially invite you to attend our 7th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. This holiday event will take place on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at the George Collins Student Union Building at 7pm. Please join us as we celebrate this holiday season with the Edward Waters College Concert Choir performing traditional music for the holiday season. Santa Clause will visit the campus at 6 p.m. on the first floor of the Student Union Building.

Special Guests include: The St. John’s Presbyterian Chancel Choir, Mr. Kevin Crenshaw, Director, The Ribault Middle School Choir & Hand Chime Ensemble, Mrs. Letonia Brown-Singles, Director. (Admission is Free)
Edward Waters College Band Selected to Participate in 2009 Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase
The stage is now set for the seventh annual Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB) Invitational Showcase, scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Ten top Historically Black College and University (HBCU) marching bands have once again been chosen to participate in the 2009 Invitational Showcase, through a combination of online voting by fans, and a selection process involving HBCU band directors and university presidents.

KINGSLAND, GA, - Kamau Leither threw a 42-yard touchdown to Jonathan Johnson with 28 second left and Edward Waters rallied to beat Savannah State 26-21 on Saturday.
