Limits (continued)

Demonstration
Click the Steps to run the demonstration.

To find practice guidelines for mumps, limited to 6 to 18 year-old patients:

  • Step 1: After running the search, click on the Limits tab. Scroll down and select Practice Guideline from the Type of Article (Publication Type) menu.
  • Step 2: Restrict the search to Child, 6-12 years, and Adolescent, 13-18 years. Click Go.

The results screen includes a colored bar with the description of the limits. [Show Me]

A checkmark now appears against Limits, indicating that limits are active and may need to be removed or modified before another query is initiated. [Show Me]

That completes our look at the Limits option. When you are ready to learn about the History feature, click Next.
