Major Research Instrumentation Program Crosscutting Programs NSF Wide
The Major Research Instrumentation Program is designed to improve the scientific and engineering equipment for research and research training in our Nation's academic institutions. The deadline for proposals for the current competition is January 22, 2009.

Science and Technology Centers: Integrative Partnerships Crosscutting Programs NSF Wide
Established in 1987, the Science and Technology Centers Program currently funds 17 Centers in a variety of disciplines. A competition was currently begun to fund a new class of Centers and the review process is underway, with award decisions expected in 2010. The expected date of the next competition is 2011.

Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR)Crosscutting NSF Wide Program
The mission of EPSCoR is to assist the National Science Foundation in its statutory function "to strengthen research and education in science and engineering throughout the United States and to avoid undue concentration of such research and education."
