The Bourland HT Resale Sale is located within T.2N., R.18E., S. 2 & 3; T.3N., R.18E., S. 24-26, 34 & 35; T.3N., R.19E., S. 8, 17-19 & 30; MDB&M (Roadside Hazard Trees adjacent to F.S. Roads 2N71, 3N16, 3N18, 3N20, 3N20YB, 3N20YC, 3N20YD, 3N21, 3N27, 3N27A, 3N27B, 3N27C, 3N27Y, 3N27YA, 3N45Y and 3N75Y), See Sale Area Map. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Stanislaus National Forest, Supervisor's Office, 19777 Greenley Road, Sonora, CA 95370 at 10:00 AM local time on 10/29/2008 for an estimated volume of 2 MBF of Incense Cedar sawtimber, 3 MBF of Ponderosa/Jeffrey Pine sawtimber, 13 MBF of Sugar Pine sawtimber, and 185 MBF of White/Red Fir sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Combined Softwood non-saw, and Lodgepole Pine sawtimber that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Mi-Wok Ranger District Office in Mi-Wuk Village, CA or Supervisor's Office in Sonora, CA. The advertisement of the Strawberry (MP) Timber Sale,
Stanislaus National Forest, is canceled. The Strawberry
(MP) Sale is located within T.5N., R.18E., Section 34;
T.4N., R.17E., Sections 24-26, 36; and T.4N., R.18E., Sections
2, 3, 8-10, 15-21, 29-31; MDB&M. The Forest Service
intends to re-advertise this sale in January or February
of 2009 with reappraised stumpage rates. Interested
parties are encouraged to examine the sale area and sample
contract this fall prior to inclement weather. The
Strawberry (MP) has an estimated volume of 117 CCF of Douglas
Fir sawtimber, 6,861 CCF of Incense Cedar sawtimber, 3
CCF of Lodgepole Pine sawtimber, 6,452 CCF of Ponderosa/Jeffrey
Pine sawtimber, 1,288 CCF of Sugar/Western White Pine sawtimber,
and 15,010 CCF of White/Red Fir sawtimber marked or otherwise
designated for cutting. In addition, there is within
the sale area an estimated volume of 6,414 CCF of Combined
Softwood non-sawtimber that the bidder agrees to remove
at a fixed rate. Information concerning the sale
is available to the public from the Summit Ranger District
Office in Pinecrest, CA. or the Forest Supervisor's Office
